Lightweight solutions are a key factor for the mobility of the future. Mobility concepts must be efficient, safe and competitive. At the same time, they must be fuel-efficient and low in emissions. Our plastic solutions for the fuel cell as an alternative drive technology also contribute to extending the service life, saving weight and optimising the ranges. Ensinger has thus also specialised in material development and processing procedures for PEMFC components such as bipolar plates and end plates. In cooperation with our customers, we successfully replace metallic materials and thermoset composites with thermoplastic high-performance polymers.
