Sustainable injection molding 2/2

The injection molding process begins with the mixing of the granules, where the application conditions are particularly relevant for the right choice of material. At this stage, our customers have the option of adding recyclates and regrind. This reduces costs and optimises the CO2 footprint.

Our material drying systems are also continuously optimised and operate in an energy-efficient manner.

Sustainable product design

When designing our products, we focus on near-net-shape injection molding to minimise waste. We also offer our customers finishing services, combining several operations into one. This saves the customer time and money by eliminating the need for further machining.

The properties and functions of our products also ensure a longer service life, contributing to a more sustainable end product in the long term. Processes such as insert molding and overmolding can be used to add functionality and reduce weight. Our high-performance plastics can also replace metal parts.
This technology saves fuel in industries such as aerospace and automotive.

Together with our customers, we not only create solutions tailored to their applications, but also support them with our technical expertise in resource-efficient injection molding.

Ensinger has set a goal of actively contributing to environmental protection, as reflected in our corporate values, sustainability report, and  certified environmental management system.
