TECACOMP PA66 ID blue 1014958

Detectable PA66 compound with high toughness

TECACOMP PA66 ID blue is a high-performance PA66 compound based on polyamide 66 resin, developed for the food industry and optimised for PA66 injection moulding. It combines high strength with excellent impact resistance and ensures reliable detection by metal and X-ray systems, minimising the risk of plastic contamination in production.
The vibrant blue colour of this PA66 plastic supports quick visual detection, especially in contrast to food products such as meat, vegetables, or pasta. Approved for direct food contact in accordance with FDA and EU Regulation 10/2011, it is ideal for sensitive applications in slaughterhouses, filling plants, or packaging facilities.
Thanks to its coordinated additive system, the PA66 granules provide additional corrosion resistance under harsh conditions, such as salt spray, making them particularly suited for hygiene-critical environments.
In addition, PA66 pellets deliver the classic advantages of PA66: high temperature resistance, strong mechanical damping, and excellent chemical stability. The material also offers hydrolysis and hot steam resistance, ensuring long-term performance in cleaning- or sterilisation-intensive processes (CIP/SIP).
