Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is one of the most capable plastics in the world. Highest strength and stiffness with outstanding chemical and thermal resistance makes PEEK the first choice for applications in medical technology, aerospace and oil and gas production. When PEEK is reinforced with a carbon or glass fibre fabric, the result is a fibre-reinforced plastic with features that represent the best of plastics technology.
Ensinger manufactures semipregs, prepregs and organosheets from fibre reinforced PEEK, as well as sheets with a thickness of up to 95 mm for subsequent machining. In addition to carbon and glass fibre reinforced PEEK, we also offer a medical approved variant (TECATEC PEEK MT).
