Ensinger Inc. receives Environmental Excellence Award

IAPD recognizes outstanding achievements in sustainability

Ensinger Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the international plastics processor Ensinger, has been honored with the Environmental Excellence Award by the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD). The award was presented on October 2 during the 69th IAPD Annual Convention in Chicago, Illinois.

It recognizes companies that have implemented significant environmental and sustainability initiatives. Ensinger Inc. was one of only four recipients to receive the Gold-level award this year, which is the highest tier within the program.

"We are honored to have received the Environmental Excellence Award," said Dino Sciullo, Executive Vice President Ensinger Americas. "At Ensinger, sustainability is not just a corporate value, but a core responsibility. We strive to align innovation with environmental stewardship to help build a cleaner future.”

Driving Climate Action and Transparency

Across the group, Ensinger is pursuing a long-term climate strategy, aiming to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2046. This goal is based on a reduction path validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

A key part of this strategy is the publication of product carbon footprints (PCF) for engineering plastics stock shapes, enabling greater transparency for customers evaluating environmental impacts.
Ensinger regularly publishes a sustainability report that outlines progress and key performance metrics across environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics.
