TECACOMP PP ID blue is a high-performance PP compound based on polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H) and tailored for injection moulding. Developed for detection-critical applications in food processing, it combines low density with excellent strength and toughness. Compared to standard PP granules, the material ensures optimised visual and technical detection of foreign objects.
Its distinctive blue color supports easy visibility in food environments, while the polypropylene compound formulation enables reliable detection by metal and X-ray systems in HACCP- and IFS-compliant processes.
The material is FDA approved polypropylene and meets EU Regulation 10/2011 for direct food contact. It is therefore ideal for components such as cable ties, clips, closures, or processing aids that must be food safe polypropylene plastic, robust, and dimensionally stable.
With properties such as chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and high steam durability, the polypropylene resin pellets perform reliably in humid and cleaning-intensive areas.
