Wear resistant PEEK compound with high intrinsic gliding capacity.

This compound based on the thermoplastic polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is filled with carbon fibres. It combines outstanding chemical and thermal resistance with high mechanical strength, rigidity and low density. The added solid lubricants ensure excellent tribological sliding properties, especially in combination with metallic mating partners.

Mechanical engineering and vehicle construction are the main areas of application for TECACOMP PEEK TRM XS due to its good performance under high loads. The compound can be used permanently in temperature ranges up to 260 °C and is more wear-resistant than PEEK PVX.
