TECACOMP PA66 TRM XS black is a technically advanced PA66 compound developed for high-performance tribological applications in PA66 injection moulding. Based on a modified semi-crystalline polyamide 66 resin, the material combines high strength, dimensional stability, and continuous temperature resistance up to 110 °C, withstanding short-term peaks of 170 °C. This makes it an ideal solution for applications exposed to simultaneous thermal and mechanical stress.
Optimised for friction and wear, this PA66 plastic demonstrates excellent wear resistance, making it the preferred choice in moving assemblies where sliding friction and abrasion must be minimised. Typical applications include plain bearings, guides, coupling elements, or bearing components in automotive, mechanical, and industrial engineering.
A key advantage of the PA66 granules lies in their balance of tensile and compressive strength with efficient heat dissipation. Compared to glass filled nylon 66, TECACOMP PA66 TRM XS black is significantly less abrasive against counter materials such as steel or plastics, extending component service life.
With low density, the PA66 pellets support lightweight design concepts while remaining PFAS-free and compliant with future regulatory requirements. Thanks to this unique property profile, TECACOMP PA66 TRM XS black offers an ideal combination of durability, friction optimisation, and thermal stability for demanding technical applications.
