Polyamide 66 Compoud 20% carbon fibre reinforced - high strength and stiffness

REQUEST FURTHER PROCESSING OPTIONS

Polyamide 66 (PA66) is among the most widely used engineering thermoplastics for heavy-duty series components. Even in its pure form, this semi-crystalline PA66 plastic combines high strength, rigidity, toughness, and excellent chemical resistance, making it a standard material in automotive engineering, industrial construction, and electrical applications.
TECACOMP PA66 CF20 black is a carbon fibre-reinforced PA66 compound developed for applications with high mechanical demands. Compared to natural polyamide 66 resin, the reinforced PA66 granules achieve significantly improved stiffness, tensile and compressive strength, flexural strength, and thermal dimensional stability. In contrast to glass fibre-reinforced nylon 66, carbon fibre reinforcement at the same content provides superior mechanical performance, making the material especially attractive for demanding structural components.
The addition of carbon fibers also imparts electrical conductivity. Conductive PA66 pellets enable controlled dissipation of electrical charges, making them well suited for functional housing parts, conductive structural components, or energy guide elements.
This PA66 compound is designed for continuous service temperatures up to 110 °C and withstands short-term peaks up to 170 °C. With excellent flow properties for PA66 injection moulding, TECACOMP PA66 CF20 black is ideally suited for structural parts in automotive and mechanical engineering, as well as industrial assemblies requiring mechanical stability, electrical shielding, and thermal resistance.
