Redissolvable high temperature resistant polyimide TECAPOWDER PI granules SG HT
TECAPOWDER PI SG HT yellow is a fully imidised polyimide with very high thermal stability and creep resistance. The granulate is characterised above all by a very high glass transition temperature. The addition of PMDA monomers, makes this temperature limit even higher than with other TECAPOWDER PI polyimides. TECAPOWDER PI SG HT is thus the plastic with the highest glass transition temperature on the market.
The non meltable material is also characterised by extremely high thermostability and compressive strength and thus meets even the most challenging requirements.
This polyimide powder is also soluble in highly polar solvents such as DMF, NMP or DMSO and is used for the production of coatings.
TECAPOWDER PI SG HT is available as granules or in powder form and is based on Evonik's P84®.
