TECACOMP PEEK CF30 black 1077822

PEEK Compound 30% carbon fibre reinforced – maximum stiffness & dimensional accuracy

The material TECACOMP PEEK CF30 black is a PEEK compound reinforced with 30% carbon fibres, which was developed for PEEK plastic injection moulding. This high-performance PEEK granules material offers excellent mechanical properties and is designed for use in high-temperature and chemical-resistant components that must function reliably under continuous mechanical stress and extreme thermal conditions.
Compared to natural PEEK, TECACOMP PEEK CF30 black has significantly increased stiffness, improved tensile and flexural strength, and optimised compressive strength. Compared to PEEK CF20, the material achieves even higher mechanical properties. Compared to PEEK GF30, TECACOMP PEEK CF30 black impresses with its lower density, better wear resistance, higher stiffness, and reduced thermal expansion. This makes the material ideal for replacing metal in demanding applications where weight reduction and mechanical performance are required at the same time.
The material also offers excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of aggressive media, low moisture absorption, and electrical conductivity. This enables its use in functional components that must meet both mechanical and electrical requirements. Typical applications are in the automotive industry, in mechanical and plant engineering, and in industrial applications where maximum temperature resistance and dimensional stability are crucial. Despite the generally good suitability of PEEK compounds like CF30, we recommend our standard materials specially developed for tribological applications for use in tribological systems.
TECACOMP PEEK CF30 black is a high-performance PEEK granules type for PEEK plastic injection moulding that meets the requirements for demanding components and is suitable as a material solution for designs that demand maximum reliability under extreme conditions.
