TECADUR PBT GF30 natural

PBT 30% glass fibre reinforced

PBT GF30 natural is a special 30% glass fibre reinforced product that is produced by Ensinger under the trade name TECADUR PBT GF30. In comparison to TECADUR PBT, this material demonstrates optimised properties in a number of areas. PBT GF30 glass filled has a very high rigidity, high mechanical strength, high creep strength and a very high dimensional stability. It is capable of meeting precision requirements for parts with tight tolerances. These material properties make this glass filled polyester suitable for use in parts which are exposed to high static loads over long periods in high temperature conditions. As glass fibres tend in some cases to have a marked abrasive effect on mating surfaces, modified TECADUR PBT GF30 is less suitable for sliding applications.
