The machining of medical plastics & fibre composites (MT) into medical plastic components requires the highest level of know-how and perfect processes. We offer everything from a single source with the many upstream and downstream process steps. From the raw material to the ready-to-use finished part, we cover the entire value chain, which increases flexibility and at the same time enables complete traceability. With regard to the MDR (Medical device regulation), Ensinger offers its customers an ideal overall package. 
Ensinger holds certification according to DIN EN ISO 13485 and is registered with the FDA. All facilities are validated and all processes are fully qualified. In addition, our clean room meets the requirements of DIN ISO 14644-1 class 7 during operation and ISO 6 (state). Together, these standards ensure maximum safety for both customers and patients.

Due to the close networking with the other Ensinger production areas, we offer a fully comprehensive portfolio for the medical industry. Ensinger Medical Grade (MT) materials from our in-house compounding are used in the form of classic plates, rods and tubes or product-specific profiles as a starting point for CNC machining medical applications into finished medical plastic components. In order to minimise material consumption in the case of larger requirements or extremely complex component geometries, it is also possible to finish the injection moulded blanks by machining.
