TECAFINE PMP Ensinger Plastics

PMP material (chemically known as Polymethylpentene) is manufactured by Ensinger in stock shapes for machining and is extruded in sheet and rod and may also be referred to as TPX®. PMP Plastic parts are known for their higher temperature resistance when compared to standard polyolefins, as well as possessing good chemical resistance and electrical insulating properties. In addition, PMP materials feature low dielectric, superb clarity, transparency, gas permeability, heat and chemical resistance and release qualities. Polymethylpentene is easily machined and polished, and has a specific gravity among the lowest of any available engineering material making it an excellent choice for lightweight structural parts.
