Imidised Polyimide TECAPOWDER PI Granules HT (High Temperature)
Polyimides are the plastics on the market with the highest application temperature and thermal stability. TECAPOWDER PI HT yellow is a completely imidised polyimide powder that achieves an even higher glass transition temperature than classic TECAPOWDER PI powder by adding PMDA monomers.
TECAPOWDER PI HT yellow is used in applications with particularly high temperature stability requirements. The granulate is soluble in highly polar solvents and can be used as a filler in PTFE due to its high thermo-oxidative stability in powder form. In tribological applications, the polyimide powder is also characterised by excellent wear behaviour without abrasion of the sliding partner as well as high creep resistance under load.
TECAPOWDER PI HT is available as granules or in powder form and is based on Evonik's P84®.
