TECACOMP PEEK CF20 black 1077810

PEEK Compound 20% carbon fibre reinforced – superior strength & wear resistance

The material TECACOMP PEEK CF20 black is a PEEK compound reinforced with 20% carbon fibres, which was specially developed for heavy-duty applications in PEEK plastic injection moulding. The PEEK granules are characterised by excellent mechanical and thermal properties and are ideal for use in high-temperature-resistant components. Compared to natural PEEK, TECACOMP PEEK CF20 black offers approximately three times the stiffness and significantly improved mechanical properties. This makes it ideal for replacing metal in load-bearing components.
Compared to glass fibre reinforced PEEK compounds, such as PEEK GF30, carbon fibre reinforced compounds have a lower density and improved tribological properties. In terms of chemical resistance, both material groups are comparable. TECACOMP PEEK CF20 black offers low thermal expansion, low moisture absorption, and electrical conductivity, making it suitable for functional components with specific electrical requirements.
Areas of application are primarily in the automotive industry, in mechanical and plant engineering, and in industrial sectors where metallic materials are substituted under demanding conditions. As high-performance PEEK granules for PEEK plastic injection moulding, the material is the right choice, especially when universal chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, and reliable mechanical performance under thermal stress are required. This combination makes the PEEK compound particularly valuable in modern high-performance engineering applications.
