TECAPEEK UD blue

Ultra detectable food grade peek

TECAPEEK UD blue is a food safe, multi-detectable PEEK plastic. Like all UD group products this PEEK material can be detected by colour, metal and X-ray inspection. It thus fulfils the highest safety standards and therefore is the preferred choice in the field of food processing. At the same time, the material complies with the food safe guidelines: FDA-compliant raw material and EU 10/2011 (tested on semi-finished product). Due to its PEEK base, this plastic shows the highest temperature and chemical resistance capability of all of Ensinger's ultra-detectable products.
With a heat deflection temperature over 150°C, and excellent resistance to a wide range of cleaning chemicals, TECAPEEK UD blue offers engineers peace of mind regardless of ambient environment. Even at temperatures up to 260°C the material shows good mechanical properties with excellent dimensional stability and low wear. TECAPEEK UD blue is suitable for highly demanding components in food processing.
