TECAFORM AH EF natural is a POM-C semi-finished product manufactured using renewable raw material sources according to the mass balance approach. The use of these raw materials is allocated to the product on a calculated basis; a specific, physically measurable bio-based content in the individual semi-finished product cannot be derived from this.

As an alternative to conventional POM-C, TECAFORM AH EF natural is suitable for applications in mechanical engineering, food processing technology, and the oil and gas industry. The material exhibits the properties typical of POM-C, including high mechanical strength and stiffness, good wear behaviour, low moisture absorption, and high dimensional stability.

Ensinger offers the POM-C bioplastic made from mass-balanced raw material as plates, rods, and tubes. You will find the PCF values and the calculation method in the PCF statement in the download area. Compared with the corresponding fossil-based POM-C variant, TECAFORM AH EF natural has a lower PCF.

TECAFORM AH EF natural is part of Ensinger’s ‘Reuse for Tomorrow’ solutions. These products support the reduced use of fossil raw materials.
