TECAST L dark green

Lubricated cast PA6G material

REQUEST FURTHER PROCESSING OPTIONS

TECAST L dark green is a cast, lubricant-modified polyamide 6 material (PA6C/ PA6G). Thanks to the integrated lubricant modification, PA6 G has significantly improved sliding performance and increased wear resistance compared to conventional cast polyamide materials. The combination of high mechanical strength, toughness, and excellent tribological properties makes TECAST L the ideal solution for highly stressed sliding and wear applications, even under difficult conditions such as dry running or irregular lubrication.

Compared to metallic materials, the PA6G material properties scores with lower friction, reduced wear, longer service life, and significantly quieter operation. Vibrations are also effectively dampened in the PA6G material during use, which additionally helps to protect the surrounding components. In many applications, dispensing with external lubrication is not only possible but also economically advantageous, as maintenance costs and downtimes are reduced.

The dark green color variant (RAL 6028) facilitates visual differentiation within complex systems and is ideal for applications where design specifications, material separation, or dirt resistance play a role.

TECAST L dark green thus offers the proven performance of the TECAST L series, with expanded possibilities in terms of appearance, functionality, and system integration. Typical areas of application for polyamide pa6g include plain bearings, guides, gears, sliding strips, and other construction parts subject to sliding stress. The PA6G material is available as plate.
