TECAPEEK RP natural

Reprocessed PEEK

REQUEST FURTHER PROCESSING OPTIONS

TECAPEEK RP natural is made from reprocessed PEEK and has a lower product carbon footprint than the fossil-based material. This does not involve PEEK recycling, but rather the reprocessing of PEEK by-products sourced from returns under the Ensinger take-back programme.

TECAPEEK RP natural is comparable to the fossil-based variant and also boasts outstanding mechanical properties, particularly at high temperatures. Furthermore, the reprocessed PEEK material offers impressive chemical resistance and can be used at temperatures of up to 260 °C. Thanks to its excellent dimensional stability and high creep resistance, it is particularly suitable for demanding machined parts. The material is produced through reprocessing in the form of PEEK tubes, PEEK plates and PEEK rods made from reprocessed plastic.

TECAPEEK RP natural is part of Ensinger’s "Reuse for Tomorrow" solutions. These comprise carefully developed products which, thanks to a lower PCF compared with their respective fossil-based equivalents, can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The relevant PCF values and information on how they are calculated can be found in the downloads section.
