TECANAT black polycarbonate is a high impact resistant polymer for use when clarity is not important.  The unmodified PC is characterized by high strength, rigidity and hardness, as well as good impact strength. However, as is the case with all amorphous thermoplastics, lower chemical resistance may be a limiting factor in the material selection process.
