TECAFLON PVDF RP natural
Reprocessed PVDF
TECAFLON PVDF RP natural is made from reprocessed polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and has a lower product carbon footprint than the fossil-based variant. This is not conventional recycling, but rather the reprocessing of PVDF by-products sourced from returns under the Ensinger take-back programme.
TECAFLON PVDF RP natural is comparable in its properties to the fossil-based variant and is characterized by high density, strength and excellent chemical resistance. It also offers very low moisture absorption and high resistance to UV radiation. These properties make it ideal for demanding applications across various industries where stability and reliability are required under adverse conditions. Ensinger produces TECAFLON PVDF RP semi-finished products in the form of plates, PVDF rods and tubes made from reprocessed polyvinylidene fluoride.
The material forms part of Ensinger’s ‘Reuse for Tomorrow’ solutions. These comprise carefully developed products which, thanks to a lower PCF compared with their respective fossil-based equivalents, can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The relevant PCF values and information on how they are calculated can be found in the downloads section.
