DELRIN® Series Black (TECAFORM AD)

POM-H black

Delrin® 150 black is a homopolymer acetal material that is manufactured by Ensinger (using black Delrin USA LLC resin) and sold under the tradename TECAFORM AD black. Delrin 150 black exhibits a high melting point and high strength, but is sensitive to hydrolysis with continuous exposure to hot water over 140°F and steam. Black Delrin, like all other POM-H materials, holds a slightly higher density, hardness and strength than acetal POM-C. ​Furthermore, POM-H black has excellent wear resistance and good sliding properties, as well as an outstanding machining ability, thus, making POM-H black an extremely adaptable engineering material. ​​Delrin is a registered trade mark of Delrin USA LLC.
