TECAFORM® AH UD Blue is a revolutionary new food grade plastic that is an Ultra Detectable acetal
copolymer designed specifically for food contact
applications in the food industry. Food safety is extremely important
in the food industry, as companies try to assure their products only
come in contact with FDA compliant materials in the food zone. High speed food production lines detect particulate matter in the food
product one of three ways; Using optical scanners that have the ability to readily detect blue materials, metal detection
equipment, or X-ray equipment. All three methods are designed to help keep food safe from unwanted particulates. TECAFORM® AH UD blue is the first multi-detectable plastic that will show up regardless of the scanning method being used.
