TECANAT GF30 natural

Polycarbonate 30% glass fibre reinforced

PC GF 30 is a glass filled polycarbonate material that is manufactured by Ensinger under the trade name TECANAT GF30 natural. This 30% glass fibre reinforced material demonstrates higher strength, rigidity, creep strength and dimensional stability than unreinforced TECANAT (PC). These properties and good fatigue strength make glass filled polycarbonate material suitable for use in parts that are exposed to high static loads over long periods in high temperature conditions. As glass fibre reinforced material tends in some cases to have a marked abrasive effect on mating surfaces, glass filled polycarbonate is less suitable for sliding applications.
