PEEK filament

TECAFIL PEEK - PEEK 3D printing filament from Ensinger

Ensinger was one of the first companies to successfully extrude PEEK. The process know-how, which we have gained over more than 3 decades, is the starting point for manufacturing many variants and highly modified high performance PEEK filaments. Since we are not limited to one raw material, we can offer PEEK filaments based on different resins, such as the unfilled version of Victrex® or VESTAKEEP® Evonik PEEK.
In addition to our unfilled PEEK variants, we offer modified versions with outstanding properties. These modifications include carbon fiber reinforced PEEK filaments and other variants such as PEEK LDS that enable laser direct structuring.

Our PEEK filament portfolio

Ensinger TECAFIL comprises a large portfolio of PAEK filaments with a diameter of 1,75 mm. Since our PEEK 3D printing filament portfolio includes many modifications in terms of properties und colours, it can be described as one of the largest. To name the most important variants:

In over 50 years, we have worked on developing suitable plastic solutions for almost all needs. Over the time, we have added more and more processes, such as compounding, to achieve the best possible results. This enables us today to offer unique 3D printer PEEK filaments, such as a 30 % carbon PEEK filament - the only one on the market with such a high filler content.
Like our unfilled grades, the PEEK carbon fiber filament is available based on two different raw materials in order to offer our customers the most suitable solution. Information on material properties, application examples, processing parameters like printing temperature or heating chamber temperature as well as drying recommendations etc. can be found on the product detail pages.

TECAFIL PEEK 3D printer filaments have been qualified for use in a wide range of industrial printers that comply with the recommended process parameters.

Compared to materials such as POM or PA, PEEK filament prices are relatively high, but PEEK enables a wide range of applications with high requirements regarding heat resistance, mechanical load and chemical resistance that simply cannot be met with engineering plastics.
