Ensinger Machined Parts
Precision plastic components

About Us

Since its establishment in 1966, Ensinger Machined Parts Limited (formally known as Trig Engineering Limited) has been at the forefront of precision machining of high performance plastic polymers, focusing on very fine tolerances and complex shapes.

In 1994, Trig became a part of the Ensinger group, moving to a purpose-built manufacturing facility where high performance and engineering plastics are machined to supply some of the biggest names in the aerospace, oil and gas, printing and medical industries.

In January 2021, Ensinger formally changed the name of Trig Engineering Limited to Ensinger Machined Parts Limited. This rebranding strategy reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future, in order to bring the legal entity names in line with the Ensinger global brand. The company’s ownership and staff have not changed and all other aspects of the business remain unchanged.

Ensinger Machined Parts continues to grow and progress in conjunction with developments in technology and engineering demands. Through continuous investment to improve all aspects of efficiently and quality, Ensinger Machined Parts provides the optimum solution to meet its customer's requirements.

The superior quality of Ensinger Machined Parts's manufactured parts gives reliability to the component, allowing it to perform in challenging environments. As a result, Ensinger Machined Parts holds a preferred supplier status within the precision engineering sector and is certified in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 Rev D.

Furthermore, we are backed by the Ensinger Group's global expertise and a stock holding of over 100 different engineering plastic materials, making Ensinger Machined Parts your ideal partner for precision machined plastic components.

Case Studies

Thermal spacer

made of TECASINT

With Bepi Colombo to Mercury

Ensingers TECASINT material is part of Europe's first mission to Mercury with BepiColombo. The spacecraft for the mission are dependent on the function of the thermal control system (TCS), which keeps all the spacecraft's component systems within an acceptable temperature range during every phase of the mission. One part of the TCS is a thermal spacer, which functions as a barrier to high temperatures and radiation. This thermal spacer is a ring shaped plate made of TECASINT.

Hydrophone Housing

Effective materials for hydrophone housings

In the field of oil and gas exploration, seismic surveys are performed to locate and determine the size of oil and gas pockets. The most common technique used to determine possible deposits is using highly sensitive hydrophones. Hydrophone strings consist of thousands of linked individual hydrophones, encased in lubricant filled tubing. These hydrophones are used to record sound waves that are bounced off the ocean floor, which provide information on rock formations and possible deposits.

Greaser Plug

made of TECAFORM AD natural

Cost-efficient greasing of your landing gear

Aircraft landing gear supports the entire weight of an aircraft during landing and ground operations. All of the articulating struts and rods in the landing gear require lubrication to ensure safe operation. Grease is retained in each of these articulating struts and rods by the greaser plug made of TECAFORM AD (POM-H) from Ensinger.
