Internal Sales Person

Ensinger Group Ltd is a UK market leader in the manufacture of semi-finished products and finished parts, complete assemblies and precision profiles from high performance plastics. Our name in quality allows Ensinger to work with a number of industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Formula 1.

This role includes the retention of existing accounts, the development of accounts, telephone sales, processing of sales orders and all basic office duties.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, proactive, conscientious and flexible with a high level of customer care.

Main Duties of the Role:

• Ability to work well under pressure, good with figures, establish good customer relations, provide quotations for materials, negotiating on price when necessary to secure future orders.
• To respond to enquiries from customers by phone and email, following up to obtain orders.
• Processing of sales orders.
• To develop existing accounts through regular contact, and utilise any quieter periods to contact dormant accounts.
• Work closely with Internal Sales and Warehouse staff across other branches and Head Office to offer the best service for customers.
• Ensuring the customer is completely satisfied with the service offered by Ensinger, including the materials / goods are supplied correctly and to specification.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience within a proactive B2B sales role.
• Strong verbal, written and personal communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs, or equivalent to ‘C’ grade or above (must include mathematics).

Desirable requirements

• Internal B2B sales experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Previous experience of providing quotations within a B2B-role will be advantageous to your application.
